Getting Started with AlocaSpace

Welcome to AlocaSpace. If you’re here, you’re probably trying to set things up quickly and get out of the way. This guide walks you through the basics so you can do exactly that.

What is AlocaSpace?

AlocaSpace helps you organize, allocate, and manage your space without the usual friction. Whether you’re managing locations, resources, or shared environments, everything lives in one place and stays easy to update.

You don’t need to configure everything upfront. Most people start simple and refine as they go.

Create Your Account

  1. Go to the AlocaSpace sign-up page

  2. Enter your email and create a password

  3. Verify your email address

  4. Log in to your dashboard

That’s it. No setup wizard you can’t escape from.

Set Up Your First Space

Once you’re logged in, you’ll land on your dashboard.

  1. Click Create Space

  2. Give your space a name

  3. Choose a space type that best matches how you’ll use it

  4. Save

You can change any of this later, so don’t overthink it.

Add People and Permissions

Spaces work better when the right people have access.

  • Invite teammates by email

  • Assign roles like Admin, Editor, or Viewer

  • Adjust permissions anytime from Space Settings

Invited users will receive an email with instructions to join.

Customize Your Space

From the space overview, you can:

  • Add sections or zones

  • Upload images or reference files

  • Set availability rules

  • Add notes for your team

Start with what you need today. You can always layer in more detail later.

Save and Share

Changes are saved automatically. There’s no publish button to remember.

You can share access by:

  • Inviting users directly

  • Sharing a view-only link

  • Exporting space details if needed

If you get stuck:

  • Check the Help Center for quick answers

  • Use the in-app chat for support

  • Reach out to your workspace admin if access looks wrong

Most issues come down to permissions or missing invites.
